Content: 20/20 - This site features a LOT of content. Rev. Vain Jayne, the webmistress, is involved in many ventures and this is well-chronicled on this site. Among the many sections of the site is body modification, which involves everything from body piercing, tattoos to tooth modification. These are also multiple photo galleries detailing her modeling and photo shoots, her wedding, some candid photos (not pornographic in any way), as well as digital art. Other content includes a very fascinating bio, an FAQ section, an online journal, song lyrics from the webmistress's band (Sijjin) as well as a paranormal, merchandising and spirituality section. The site also offers the normal services such as a button exchange, a web ring and awards. Graphics: 20/20 - Graphics are well laid out on the site. Most of the graphics used are original photos of the webmistress and her friends via various endeavors. They are well laid out, are not intrusive or distracting and they complement the site well. Also, with everything being original as far as I could see, they earn their high score. Navigation: 18/20 - Navigation for the most part on the site is very good. The webmistress uses a combination of tables with links on the left hand side and the top of the page as well as iframes which makes the site easy to navigate for the most part. The only real problem I had was that the iframe on the main page seemed to scroll a little too quickly. Also, pages were not always consistent in their loading behavior. Some loaded into new windows, while others did not, and this can lead to a little bit of confusion when. However, fallback links to the main page and it's links were always available and there is no chance of getting lost on the site. Layout: 19/20 - The layout on this site is excellent. The use of white text and as well the heavy use of black and white photos on the site's black background, give it a dark, yet polished look. The only things that might be changed are the font itself that is used, as it can be a little hard to read. Also the button exchanges that are listed on the splash page might be better served running directly underneath or to the side of the main graphic. However, that is only a very minor point. Errors: 20/20 - No errors were found. Extra Points: 7/10 - Considering all of the content that this site offers, some of it rather unusual, as well as the attention to detail that is show in all aspects of the site's creation, I feel it merits a high extra point score. Overall Score: 104/100 Nos Heads: 5 out of 5 Nos Summary: This is a truly well put together, informative and unique site. Visitors will find a plethora of different subject matter to pique their interest here, from music, to body art to writings as well as a nicely put together photo gallery among many other things. Combine the excellent layout, the solid navigation and the very interesting graphics contained herein, and this site is a hands down winner. « Featured
